They accompanied four little sick babies between Paris and Ougadougou. They took home two of them who had been cured and on their return journey they brought with them two infants who were leaving their country temporarily to receive treatment in the USA.
In the USA the responsibility for these children was assumed by "Tami Shobe" Chidren's Medical Missions West, an American association that assists destitute children all over the world.
Alphonso, 8 months and Razak 7 months who returned to Ougadougou had been suffering from heart problems.
Bonaventure. 3 months, is suffering from a hare lip and Alina who had been operated upon in the USA for spina bifida* some time ago, returns to have her prothesis changed.
Every time it is a real joy for the volunteers of ASF to accompany these children towards a cure and to return them cured to their families.
*Spina bifida is a malformation of the spinal chord which can result in an total paralysis from birth
