Young patients of Saint Maurice hospitals pay a visit to the Paris civil security and emergency helicopter unit (Dragon 75)

It was the first time that they had visited Dragon 75.

Smiling wings

On its own funds and with the support of various flying clubs in France,  Aviation Sans Frontières offers, since 1995, days of aeronautical discovery to persons whom, isolated by their restricted mobility, would not have been able to imagine such an enjoyment:  realizing their dream  of flying.
About sixty volunteers within 21 ASF antennas receive their guests and provide them with an introduction to navigation, meteorology as well as the enjoyment of a first flight with delivery of a diploma. In perfect synergy with flying clubs, our volunteers make sure that regulations concerning safety of persons, airplanes and installations, are well followed.

Smiling wings are present today:

Around Paris

Moret-sur-Loing: for the benefit of the European medical center " l’Envol ".
La Ferté-Alais: the animation is completed by a visit to 80 vintage airplanes from the Jean-Baptiste Salis museum.
In the winter months, it proposes to the guests other discoveries: the emergency rescue helicopters bases, Air Force bases, large Parisian airports and their control towers.
