Medical Couriers: providing hundreds of toys for hospitalised or underprivileged children

Every year, during Christmas period, Medical Couriers is transformed into Father Christmas’ workshop and helps to ship toy parcels to Madagascar and Africa.

After collection, these toys are packaged by volunteers who work on a daily basis for two months in order to send out the parcels, on an exceptional basis, on the Medical Couriers shipping network. This year, no fewer than 300 parcels have been distributed by our local teams.

Upon arrival, our teams ensure the proper distribution of the toy parcels which are intended for underprivileged or hospitalised children. Cuddly toys, cars, dolls, balls, books,  educational toys, and a small pool table have all found their way to very satisfied owners.

What a delight to be able to see the bright eyes and smiles of these children, experiencing the magic of Christmas.

“A lot of these little darlings were delighted to be offered such beautiful presents that they otherwise would never have received. You should have seen how delighted these kids were!” Father Etienne Marie from Saint Joseph’s Children’s Home in Conakry, Guinea.

The children of Kinshasa even sent a nice card in return: “I’m absolutely delighted to present our heartfelt thanks for all the toys that you send us through ASF for Christmas.”

There’s no doubt about it: Father Christmas is hiding in Orly...
